How do you know if a theory is useful or not? The choice is complex, if not impossible. But here, with the idea of building a model based on systemic aspects and the corporate framework, we can already reduce the number of proposals.

Here are the three criteria[1] :

  1. The theory has stood the test of time.
  1. It has a link with the group or team
  1. It is fashionable

The first criterion is essential because it's indirect proof that this theory holds water. At least it has not been disproved by evidence to the contrary.

The second criterion is also important because it supports a systemic approach. And this aspect is still very rare in motivation studies.

The third criterion is also important, as it will enable me to highlight our beliefs and fantasies about certain models.

[1] Ces trois critères ne sont pas exclusifs. Les théories qui suivent ne répondent pas forcément à tous les  trois critères.
